I weighed myself twice. These are the kinder numbers: 158.0, 35.1 percent body fat
So I'm down since last week, but my weight fluctuates so much that a one-week loss won't mean anything until I can see it's a trend. I haven't increased my activity at all, but I have eaten a little less. Not much less. But a little, and every little bit helps.

It's going in the right direction. Slow is better than not at all. Do you have one of those scales that gives a body fat percentage?
I'm not sure I'd have the guts.
so you lost about a pound? that's excellent.
and like RC says, it's the right direction. it never feels like much when it's a loss, but just think how discouraging if you'd gained that much.
keep going. drink a lot of water. write down everything you eat. everything. everything.
it'll come off.
and in the meantime, you look fabulous, so it's almost like losing weight is a bonus.
RC, I bought a body fat scale a number of years ago. It's a smack in the face, let me tell you. And I'm OK with slow weight loss, as long as it keeps going down.
Laurie, you're very encouraging! Thanks. I'm going to just sing that to myself all night. I look fabulous and losing weight is a bonus.
