We had some snow recently. The photos aren't great, but I wasn't about to go out in that stuff to get decent ones. The kids eventually went out to play in it, though. Well, Kelsey played. Kayleigh whined and stood still.
Here is my front yard.
Here is my back yard.
Here is my garage.
This is the snow overhanging my garage.
Eric knocked that down yesterday because we didn't want it to freeze into a big icicle and destroy our buildings.
And here is Basil baby eating a carrot.
Isn't he so cute? He's so little and sweet. He licks you all over.
This is Raven being a punk. He's huge and heavy and a bit of a snit. He will flop down beside you in bed, though, and allow you to pet him. For a while.

Love these photos! The front yard one comes over the Internet as blue. Really beautiful! You can have the snow, though!
Love the bunny photos! They have such personalities!
Love to you all!
Bbbrrr...cold snow! I haven't seen anything like it in ages, but I do remember how to make very good snowballs and have a fight with them, although my aim is always off and I seem to make a good target.
We don't get snow anymore in the Netherlands and I don't mind it one bit. I don't have the proper boots to wear for it anyway, unless I were to wear my hiking boots and they are so clunky!
What's famous about Wisconsin? Is it the cheese? If so, what kind?
Marcia, this was great snow. Lots and lots of it. Shut us all down. It was fabulous.
Irene, it's sad you don't get snow anymore, but probably more convenient.
Wisconsin, land of cow shit and beer farts. We're famous for cows, milk, cheese of all kinds, The Cheddarheads, deep-fried cheese curds, bratwurst, beer, brandy, bowling, fishing, the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, lots of lakes, and large people with poor fashion sense. I had a friend in high school who moved here from Texas who was astonished how chubby we all were and how much milk we drank. There are lots of accomplished curlers and speed skaters from Wisconsin, and we host the cross-country ski race, the Birkebeiner, when we have enough snow. This year we have enough snow.
When my brother's family was here a couple summers ago, they took pictures of our dairy department in the grocery store because it had so much cheese.
The snow is really beautiful. I love to see it now that I don't have to shovel it or drive in it.
I. Am. So. Tired. Of. Snow.
Yours looks beautiful, but then I don't have to deal with it. I would give anything for a temp that breaks into double digits.
Ugh.
CONGRATULATIONS! I just heard on the weather channel that Madison just entered the record book for most snow ever. Wow! How are you all holding up under all that snow?
Jan, it is nice to look at. This year we've had so much that it hasn't really gotten that ugly, dirty, depressing disgustingness that it usually does. It will as it melts, but for now, it's still nice.
RC, we're all the way up to 20 today. Thank goodness. I hate the cold. I've been freezing for a couple of weeks. It makes me crabby.
Marcia, we're holding up fine. At least I am. Some people are complaining, but it's just snow and cold. It's just weather. It's not like life is really any different when it's 20 or 50 or 80. You still have to go to work, you still have to do the laundry, it's still nice to go for a walk in the woods. Even though it's cold.
