A1

I had my first front-page story today. It's such a lame story, too. But I'm not going to complain about its placement. There's just so much more I could have done with it. They only wanted five inches, though, and they were pretty specific about what was to go in those five inches.

Anyway, I'm happy.

And it only took me about half an hour to do.

Way to go, Amy! It's so kewl to see your name in such a prominent place. You rock, lady!

I visited several areas of Madison, saw our old homes and your present one! Weird!

I agree, aims! Amy, I hope you are keeping copies of all these articles of yours. Great to have a collection of your work at such a good paper.

Where are all the people?

Thanks, everyone.

And, anonymous, it was probably hot. We're a spoiled people. I'm guessing we retreated to the comfort of our AC. Our neighbors' daughter's vehicle was parked on our street, so it was probably a weekend - even more reason to just stay put.
